Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sahay is Professor in dept of Endocrinology at Osmania Medical College & Hospital
- He is also a Consultant Endocrinologist, Sahay’s Endocrine & Diabetes Centre. Ameerpet, Hyderabad
- Dr. Sahay has done MD, DM in Endocrinology
- He has been awarded Fellowships like Fellowship of Academy of Medical sciences FAMS, Fellowship of Sri Lanka College of Endocrinology, Fellowship of American college of Endocrinology FACE, FICP
- He is President of RSSDI and President of South Asian Federation of Endocrine Societies
- He is an associate editor at IJDDC and an editorial board member of IJEM
- He has published over 180 publications in various national & international journals and has authored chapters in various textbooks & monograms on Diabetes and Endocrinology
- He is also been recipient of many prestigious awards in his career
