About the presenter:
Dr. Alpana Mohta (MD, DNB, IFAAD, FEADV, FSOCS, FIADVL, FIAL) Dermatologist, Venereologist, and Leprologist.
- Dr Alpana Mohta is a Consultant Dermatologist at Sharda multispecialty hospital, Bikaner since August 2022
- She completed her DNB (Dermatology, venereology and leprosy) in 2021 from the National Board of Examination & MD (Dermatology, venereology and leprosy) in 2020 from Government medical college, Kota, India
- She is a triple Gold medalist, "1st MBBS topper" of the year 2011, "The Amar-Anita Award" Surgery top-scorer and "Gynaecology" top-scorer in the year 2015
- She has also a Certificate of Excellence in under graduation from the Principal of SPMC, Bikaner in year2011, 2013 & 2015
- She has won 13 National and 1 International Awards at conferences
- She has also been awarded as ‘Best Resident’ in the department of dermatology by the superintendent of NMCH Hospital, Government Medical College, Kota in the years 2019 & 2020
- She has published in 38 national and 45 International journals
- She was invited as a speaker internationally at ASDR (Australasian Society for Dermatology Research), Annual Scientific Meeting in August 2022 on the topic “Differences in the skin microbiota over lesional and non-lesional skin in leprosy patients”, in the British Association of Dermatologists 102nd Annual Conference in July 2022 and in Dubai derma 2023 (Scholarship winner)
