Special patient ward set up in Ahmedabad for treating Zika cases

VS Hospital, Ahmedabad has set up a special ward with 12 patient beds to treat individuals diagnosed with Zika virus infection.


Dr. Bhavik Solanki, the Medical Officer of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) mentioned that measures have been taken and the ward has been reserved for Zika patients from within and outside the state as well. So far, they have not had any patients admitted there. The AMC has also launched a drive to control the spread of the virus.
