30 Indian surgeons attend training session in facial bone fracture fixation

Thirty plastic and reconstructive surgeons from J&K, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi attended a workshop on Advanced Cranio Maxillary Fractures Fixation held at Ludhiana on October 24.



The workshop comprised of seven lectures and two hands-on sessions during which surgeons were provided advanced training on facial bone fracture fixation. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Ashwani Chaudhary, Medical Superintendent at DMC and Hospital who mentioned that facial injuries are increasing due to the rising incidence of motorcycle accidents in the country. Injuries  Dr. Sanjeev Uppal, Head of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, DMCH spear-headed the course.
