Uncovering burden disparity: A comparative analysis of the impact of moderate-to-severe psoriasis and Hidradenitis suppurativa

Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology Sep 18, 2017

Hamzavi IH, et al. - The intent here was to investigate which disease was related to a more severe health-related quality of life (HRQoL) impairment. An increased HRQoL burden was discovered in patients with Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) than patients with psoriasis. The needs of patients with HS and the potential impact of medical, scientific, and societal consensus for the development of more effective HS therapies were documented during this research.
