Fulop T, et al. - Researchers examined long-term outcomes of surgical parathyroidectomy (PTX) in end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients via a retrospective chart review. Acceptable control of ESRD-associated hyperparathyroidism was achieved in most of the patients from a socioeconomically challenged, underserved population of the United States, who underwent gland-sparing PTX.
