Predicting NK cell subsets using gene expression levels in peripheral blood and endometrial biopsy specimens

American Journal of Reproductive Immunology Aug 11, 2017

Davies ML, et al. – This analysis ascertained if measuring total RNA transcripts from a tissue specimen accurately reflected the immune cell levels and served as a new technique to evaluate immune cell subsets. It was deduced that strong associations existed between RT–qPCR data and levels of lymphocyte subsets. This suggested that the gene expression analysis would be a beneficial technique for characterizing levels of CD56+ cells, in endometrial tissues.
