Dr Monish S. Raut is a Senior Consultant in Cardiothoracic Vascular Anaesthesiology at Artemis Health Institute, Gurugram.
- He has completed his MBBS from the Government Medical College, Nagpur.
- He pursued his MD in Anaesthesiology from B.J. Medical College, Pune, and FNB in Cardiac Anaesthesiology at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi.
- His areas of expertise include cardiac anaesthesiology, transoesophageal echocardiography, perioperative management of complex cardiac cases, ECMO, VAD and heart transplants, and he is a certified BLS and ACLS provider.
- He is the first and corresponding author in more than 100 indexed journal articles.
- His main focus of writing is on the awareness and knowledge of general practitioners and family physicians.
- His areas of interest are general medicine, cardiology and critical care.
- He was the principal investigator in one of the largest international trials, GlobalSurg-CovidSurgWeek (mentioned in Guinness World Records).
- He achieved the Best Article Award in the Indian Heart Journal 2020
