About the presenter:
Dr. R Surendran is a Consultant in Infectious Diseases at Vijaya Hospitals, Chennai
- He did his MBBS and MD in General Medicine from Coimbatore Medical College, Coimbatore
- He has completed his FNB in Infectious diseases from Apollo Hospital, Greams Road, Chennai, and his MRCP from Royal College of Physicians (2023)
- He has done several paper presentations; a recent one is "Case series of melioidosis" from Tamil Nadu, CIDSCON 2022, Kolkatta
- He has published numerous research & publications, including "Xpert Carba-R Assay on Flagged Blood Culture Samples: Clinical Utility in Intensive Care Unit Patients with Bacteremia Caused by Enterobacteriaceae"
