• She is the Founder and Manager Trustee at Freedom From Cancer Relief and Research Foundation Public Trust
• She is also a Senior Consultant of Medical and Paediatric Oncology at Apollo Speciality Hospitals, Kauvery Cancer Center and Chettinad Super Speciality Hospital, Chennai
• Dr. Anitha has overall 23 years of experience in the field of Oncology, both as a Physician and in Teaching
• This year she was awarded with "She - The Warrior" award in March 2023
• She is a Gold Medalist and has an Honours degree in MBBS and First Rank in the Calcutta University Surgery Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Pharmacology, Anatomy from Calcutta National Medical College and Hospital

• She is actively involved in clinical trials as Principal Investigator for more than 24 trials, the highest recruiting physician for a Sanofi Aventis trial in the world, Us FDA audited Investigator for Clinical trials in Phase 1, phase 2 and Phase 3 studies and also the highest recruiter in an International trial
