About the presenter:
Dr. Sudhir Kumar working as a Consultant Neurologist at Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad since 2004
- He is one of the youngest doctors to qualify as a neurologist at the age of 28 years
- He has an experience of over 22 years of managing patients with various neurological disorders, his areas of expertise include brain stroke, neurocritical care, epilepsy, neuropathic pain, dementia & migraines
- He is also an expert in administering botox injections for neurological disorders
- He has been a regular speaker at national & international conferences, and also in CMEs (continuing medical education) programs
- He has been on the editorial board for Neurology India, Indian Journal of Critical Care Medicine and International Journal of Neurology & Neurosurgery
- He has worked as a head of clinical operations at Maya Clinicals in California based research organization for several years
- He has worked as a lecturer & consultant neurologist at Christian Medical College Hospital in Vellore (2001-2004)
- He received his MBBS, MD Medicine & DM Neurology training at CMC in Vellore during 1989-2001
- He is loved and admired by his patients, which include people not only from various parts of India but also from the Middle East & Africa
Publications:
- He has published over 125 research papers in peer-reviewed national & international journals including Epilepsia, JNNP, Annals of IAN, JAPI, IJCCM, etc
- He has been a part of multiple book chapters, monographs, paper presentations & clinical trials
- He has also co-authored the first EEG atlas in the country - Atlas of Electroencephalography in adult and child
