Prof Dr Niranjan Chavan is a Professor and Unit chief, LTMM & LTMGH, Sion Hospital Mumbai

- He is a member of the oncology committee, SAFOG (2020-2021)(2021-2023)
- He is the National Co-ordinator, FOGSI Medical Disorders in Pregnancy Committee (2019-2022)
- He is the chairman at FOGSI Oncology & Trophoblastic Tumour Committee (2012-2015)
- He is the Convener at FOGSI Cell, Violence Against Doctor (2015-2016)
- He is also the Chairman & Dean, Academia of Global Obstetricians & Gynecologists (AGOG)
- He is the Dean of AGOG and the Chief Content Director for HIGHGRAD and FEMAS courses
