About the presenter:
Dr. Jimmy Patel is DM Gastroenterology (PG) at Madras Medical College, Chennai.
- He is a lifetime member of the Indian Society Of Gastroenterology (ISG)
- He has presented a poster at TNISGCON 2023 - "Trends of high-resolution manometric findings in patients presenting at GI motility clinic of a tertiary care health facility" - a case series of 125 patients
- He is also keenly interested in Advanced therapeutic endoscopy including EUS, ERCP and POEM ( 3rd space procedures) and Hepatobiliary, IBD and Liver transplant patients
- He has done DNB General Medicine from Max Superspeciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi (2019 to 2022)
- Completed MRCP Part 1 & 2
- He has done MBBS from Kesar Sal Medical College and Research Institute and an internship from N.H.L Medical College, Ahmedabad
- Dr. Patel's work experience includes being a Clinical Associate at Max Superspeciality Hospital, Saket, Delhi
- He has also worked as a Senior Resident at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Delhi
- He has done Cleveland Clinic Advanced Certificate Course in Diabetes in 2018 and also done a thesis in DNB "A Prospective Observational Study of Clinical Spectrum and Outcomes of Acute Undifferentiated Febrile Illness."
