Two patients hurt as slab collapses in Mumbai's KEM hospital

A freak accident at the dialysis unit of KEM hospital, Mumbai left two patients injured after slabs collapsed and fell on them.


Two patients were injured when a slab collapsed and fell on them at KEM Hospital in south Mumbai. The incident took place late night on 14 March in the dialysis department of the hospital. The injured were immediately shifted to another ward. A statement issued by Dr Avinash Supe, Dean of KEM Hospital said, 'The condition of the injured is stable. We have moved the dialysis center to another place for the time being.'
