This was for the first time in India, such an event was held to create an awareness among the public to protect their bone and joints. During the day event, organized by the International Ortho and Trauma Care, with the theme 'Stronger Bones, Stronger India', Orthopaedic experts explained to the public the advancements made in the treatment of bone and joint related problems. Dr T Kamaraj, Founder of Dr Kamaraj Multi-Speciality Hospital and Director of Aakash Fertility Centre and Hospital and Ortho Expert Dr P Radhakrishnan of International Ortho and Trauma Care, said Free BMD Scan (Bone Mineral Density) was done for the public during the event.
