TN Govt has caused injustice to students on NEET : HC

On a day when the Tamil Nadu government released the rank list for MBBS admission based on NEET following a Supreme Court order, the Madras High Court today said the State government has caused injustice to the students of Tamil Nadu.

 

 

 

 

The court has also asked the government to furnish the list of students admitted through NEET. The Tamil Nadu Medical Education Directorate today released the random numbers for MBBS aspirants in the State who cleared the NEET exams. Unfortunately, the positions were not encouraging for those who had opted for State board, as only five in the top 20 list were from the Tamil Nadu stream of education. Others are from CBSE and international boards. Releasing the rank list, Health Secretary J Radhakrishnan said counselling would begin tomorrow and continue on all days till the all the available seats were filled
