Patient killed as fire breaks out in Rohini hospital

A 45-year-old patient was killed when a fire broke out in a private super specialty hospital at Hanmakonda in this district, on Monday evening. 

 

 

 

 



Police said the fire broke out in the operation theater in the second floor of Rohini Hospital due to short circuit. Police said that there were about 200 patients when the building caught fire.Soon the fire officials and police safely evacuated all the patients and shifted to Max Care and MGM Hospitals. The deceased identified as J Kumara Swamy was a resident of Venkraopally from Jayashankar Bhupalapally district and was admitted in the hospital three days back for leg operation, police added.
