The 61st Interactive session of the “JIPMER Health Education Initiative” focused on “Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Surgery” was held at JIPMER, Pondicherry on Tuesday.
 

As many as 300 people including students from various colleges, Anganwadi Workers, JIPMER Staff & General public participated in the session focused on creating public awareness on the need, importance, and concerns regarding Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Surgery.

The session was addressed by specialist doctors from various departments . They also discussed the topic in depth and answered the questions raised by audience. Also, the session was Live Telecast to all Medical Colleges of South India under the National Medical College Network (NMCN) Project through JIPMER Regional Resource Centre.
