Haryana Health Minister on 9th September said that an intensive oral health awareness campaign would be conducted in the state till October 19 and the people will be made aware of effects of oral health on the body during the campaign.

The Minister said that under this campaign, the people of the state would be made aware of the prevention and treatment of all diseases related to the mouth. He said that to ensure the success of this campaign, all civil surgeons, senior dentists and dentists have been deputed on duty so that maximum number of people can get benefit from the campaign.
 

He said that under this campaign, the people will be made aware of the mouth diseases including bad smell of the mouth, mouth blisters, mouth cancer, tooth sensitivity and mouth bleeding. The people will also be made aware of the safety measures to be taken for these diseases. The awareness regarding eating habits, the effects of the oral health on the body and keeping teeth clean and safe would also be shared, he added.
