Dr Ira Almeida, who was heading the facility, has handed over the charge to a senior doctor from Goa Medical College (GMC) and Hospital Dr Uday Kakodkar. According to sources, the move has come after there were several complaints about the condition of COVID-19 hospital. Dr Deepa Correira, the senior surgeon, has been given charge of Hospicio Hospital, Margao.
