Times of India Nov 28, 2018
A government hospital doctor from Botad, Rajkot has been arrested after a pregnant woman and her baby died while being operated on by him in a drunk state.
For now, the doctor has been booked under Prohibition Act. Family members have, however, alleged medical negligence. Police will take a call once the autopsy report comes back. If the allegations turn out to be true, a case of criminal negligence will be registered against the doctor.
