Galaxy Hospital gets new NBI endoscopy system in Maharashtra

The highly developed modern Narrow Band Imaging (NBI) endoscopy system, third of its kind in the state, installed at Galaxy Hospital in Borban area in the city was inaugurated by the former Chief Minister and sitting MP Ashok Chavan in a program organised at evening on Sunday.
MLA D P Sawant,Dr Suresh Kadam and Dr Sanjay Kadam were present as guests of honour. Dr Nitin Joshi of Galaxy hospital after felicitating the guests informed that the NBI endoscopy machine was different from that of the traditional machine and it gives clear images of the intestine which helps to diagnose malignant cancer or other tumors in the stomach accurately. He informed that over 5000 endoscopes were done by him during the last 2 years in the hospital. ‘There is no compromise in case of quality’, he said.
