Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on September 10 announced that a medical university would be set up at Kutail village of Karnal district, in the name of Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay.

Speaking on the second day of ongoing session of Vidhan Sabha in Chandigarh, Mr Khattar said that as per the announcement, work has been started for the setting up of a Medical University at Kutail village after the name of Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay and the classes are likely to be started from next academic session.
