Central study team on health schemes interacts with East Godavari Collector

A four-member team of 12th Common Review Mission (CRM) on Health and Family welfare of Central government, which is on a four-day study tour of East Godavari district has called on Collector Kartikeya Mishra at his camp office here on September 6 and interacted with him on the status of implementation of health programmes.



 

 

 

 



The team members Rudra Pradhan, Dr Rajesh Kumar, Rajneesh Ranjan Prasad and Dr Shanta Achanta heard the collector on various measures adopted in the district on health and family welfare. The Collector has narrated them the geographical position of the district and the climatic conditions in 11 agency mandals, upland and Delta areas and the efforts of the district administration on real time demand and supply of medical care.

Mr Mishra also shared the strategies adopted for control of Malaria, Dengue and other vector borne diseases like strengthening of surveillance and laboratory services with the available human resources ensuring departmental coordination involving Panchayat raj, ICDS, Revenue, medical and health for joint action. District Medical and Health Officer Dr TSR Murty and District coordinator Medical and health services Dr Ramesh Kishore , Coordinator NTR Vydya Seva Dr Varaprasad were among those who attended.
