Apollo Hospitals enters UP with 330-bed super-speciality hospital in Lucknow

Apollo Hospitals is launching a new 330 bedded super speciality hospital in Lucknow. The new hospital will be inaugurated by President of India Ram Nath Kovind on February 24 next.


This is the 72nd hospital of Apollo, located in the heart of Lucknow and spread over a spacious 3,50,000 square feet area, an emailed statement issued here said. The super-speciality hospital will provide quaternary care across 10 Centres of Excellence with more than 30 specialities spearheaded by internationally trained doctors. As many as 110 beds out of the 330 beds are exclusively dedicated for critical care.

Addressing the Press during the pre-launch conference President of Apollo Hospitals Group and Director of Apollomedics Super Speciality Hospital Dr. Hariprasad K said, “Patients from over 140 countries have honoured us with their trust and respect, which has encouraged us to explore new frontiers."

"A major boost to the healthcare infrastructure in the state of Uttar Pradesh, the hospital with advanced infrastructure and best in class equipment will deliver world class patient care to the people of the state,”he added. Dr Hariprasad K said people of Uttar Pradesh have been seeking Apollo’s services in Delhi and other states, over many decades.

The hospital will provide quality quaternary care services with round the clock diagnostic, curative, preventive and rehabilitative care across specialities, through its Centres of Excellence - Cardiac Sciences, Oncology (Cancer Care), Neuro Sciences, Gastro Sciences, Renal Sciences, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Critical Care and 24X7 Trauma Care.

Dr. Sushil Gattani, Founder & Co-Chairman, Apollomedics Super Speciality Hospital said, “This will be one of the largest hospitals in the city, also be one of the most advanced healthcare providers in the city.
