AP government doctors seek reshuffle of top brass in medical and health department

Andhra Pradesh Government doctors association at its state executive emergency meeting Kakinada on 23rd August, with Dr P V Satyanarayana president in the chair, has resolved requesting the government to immediately reshuffle the heads of various wings in the medical and health department in the interests of the department.
It has opined that all the state level officers including Director Medical education, Director Health, Commissioner (AP Vydya vidhana parishad) and medical college principals, hospital superintendents, DMHO and DCHS should be shuffled to ensure effective functioning. It also decided to meet the Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy soon to draw his attention on the present state of affairs in the department and how juniors are heading various wings.
Dr P Shyam Sundar state association general secretary, Dr Durgaprasad treasurer, Dr M Gulab Rajkumar vice president, Dr Vinay kumar, Dr Lakshmoji Naidu, Dr Venkata reddy, Dr Ramarao, Dr Chakravarti, Dr Anil and Dr Sugunaraju executive members attended. Later they called on the Minister for medical and health Alla Kalikrishna Srinivas in a delegation and presented a memorandum listing out their demands.
