The body of a patient admitted to ID & BG hospital, Kolkata for tuberculosis was found beside a bush, behind the hospital building, five days after he went missing from the ward.

The patient was admitted to the hospital on November 15 and was reported missing by relatives on November 19. Hospital cleaners found his body in the bushes on November 20. What is more alarming is that no one noticed that he went missing from the ward. Police have ruled out suicide and suspect that the man wandered into the bushes, fell down, and bled to death.
