An FIR has been registered against two people for assaulting and threatening to kill a 46-year old nephrologist from Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon. 

Police mentioned that the incident took place in his society at 8.39 pm on October 31, when Dr. Shashidhar Shriniwas was returning home from his clinic. He was attacked by the two people. The doctor received many blunt injuries and a knee fracture in the incident. The attacker fled the place when they saw neighbours and the doctor's wife coming for help. The cops believe it to be an extortion attempt.
