Manager of a private hospital died under mysterious circumstances in the Gomti Nagar area of this district in Uttar Pradesh, early on July 17 morning.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) of Lucknow said that Vishwajeet Singh Pundir (31), residing in the Vishwas Khand area of Gomti Nagar, went to his mother in an injured state and sai d that he had fallen, at around 0200 hrs. He was then rushed to a hospital in a critical state where he succumbed while receiving treatment. The SP said that beer and liquor bottles were recovered from his room. The house is big and there are blood stains at various places which indicate that the victim may have struggled a lot. Further investigation is underway.
