Visual evoked potentials in operated primary congenital glaucoma: A cross-sectional comparative study
Clinical Ophthalmology Jun 11, 2021
Mohammed MA, Morsy MS, Zeater NS, et al. - In this cross-sectional comparative study, researchers sought to assess the VEP parameters in operated controlled primary congenital glaucoma (PCG) eyes and compare them to normal age similar children eyes. The investigation was carried out on 34 (19 right) eyes of 26 (19 males) children operated for PCG and 30 (17 right) eyes of 22 (12 males) age similar control children in a university-based practice. There was no statistically significant relationship between most of the clinical characteristics of the study eyes and any of the VEP parameters studied. The VEP parameters of operated controlled PCG eyes are the same as those of their normal peers.
