Brenner H, et al. - Experts investigated the vital parameters of Fecal immunochemical test (FIT) performance for identifying advanced neoplasia (AN) according to sex and age among men and women aged 50–79 years who underwent screening colonoscopy in Germany. Significant variations were brought to light in the diagnostic performance parameters according to sex and age. It required cautious attention while interpreting and comparing the results of FIT-based colorectal cancer screening studies.
