Utility of the ACC/AHA lesion classification as a predictor of procedural, 30-day and 12-month outcomes in the contemporary percutaneous coronary intervention era
Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions Nov 19, 2017
Theuerle J, et al. - This research was designed to explore the correlations between the ACC/AHA coronary lesion classification and clinical outcomes in the contemporary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) era. Lower procedural success rates, as well as inferior medium-term clinical outcomes, were continuously reported in relation to PCI to more complex lesions. Therefore, pre-procedure calculation of the ACC/AHA lesion classification was still recommended in order to predict acute PCI success and clinical outcomes.
