Use of oral immunosuppressive drugs in the treatment of atopic dermatitis in the Netherlands

Garritsen FM, et al. - Researchers herein aimed at providing an overview of the use of oral immunosuppressive drugs in patients with atopic dermatitis (AD) in the Netherlands. Findings suggested that oral immunosuppressive drugs were used by 1.4% of the AD patients for their eczema in a five year period. The most commonly used systemic drug in the Netherlands for the treatment of AD was methotrexate.
