Bentata Y, et al. - Authors here examined the initial clinical picture and the prognosis of patients presenting End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) with uremic pericarditis (UP). In view of the risk of tamponade, UP was considered as a fatal but a rare complication of ESRD. Its prognosis remained dependent on early diagnosis and adequate treatment of ESRD.
