Al-Zwaylif LH, et al. - Researchers attempted to examine the connection between the type and timing of dietary acid intake and tooth wear among American adults. The intake of soft drinks with meals correlated with moderate-to-severe tooth wear in the study group. Irrespective of the timing of consumption, other acidic foods and beverages were not found to be related to tooth wear.
