Grossman A, et al. - The tie-up between levothyroxine treatment and mortality in individuals 65 years or older with subclinical hypothyroidism and TSH values <10 mIU/L were comprehensively assessed in this trial. A connection was brought to light between levothyroxine therapy with markedly increased mortality in individuals 65 years or older with subclinical hypothyroidism and TSH <10.
