Reiter M, et al. – Objective of this study was to gauge the role of total glossectomy without laryngectomy for advanced squamous cell cancer of the tongue. For advanced cancer of the tongue, following meticulous reconstructive principles, as well as a proper patient selection, total glossectomy without laryngectomy appeared as a feasible treatment option.
