Time and psychostimulants: Opposing long-term structural effects in the adult ADHD brain. A longitudinal MR study

Pretus C, et al. - For the first time, the researchers described the effect of psychostimulant treatment on brain volumes in a sample of medication-naïve adult ADHD patients. A normalizing effect of psychostimulant treatment was observed on the left putamen volume loss detected among non-medicated ADHD patients.
