Neurourology and Urodynamics Apr 12, 2018

Blok B, et al. - In RELAX-OAB study, authors confirm the safety and effectiveness of the Axonics rechargeable sacral neuromodulation (r-SNM) System, a miniaturized, rechargeable SNM system for the treatment of overactive bladder. Findings suggest that with objective improvement in 91% of subjects, the Axonics r-SNM System provides safe and effective SNM therapy. A significant improvement in all domains of quality of life is also demonstrated in the findings. As per the data, this miniaturized, rechargeable system is designed to last 15 or more years and by eliminating replacement surgeries is expected to provide clinical and cost benefits over current non-rechargeable systems.
