The yeasticidal activity of chemical disinfectants and antiseptics against Candida auris

Moore G, et al. - The target here was to investigate the yeasticidal activity of different chemical disinfectants and antiseptics against C. auris and C. albicans. A chlorine-based disinfectant and iodine-based skin antiseptic were found to be effective against C. auris. Moreover, chlorhexidine-based products could also be effective.
