Matthes KL, et al. - A comparative analysis was conducted between the risk of prostate cancer (PCa)-specific mortality (PCSM) and cardiovascular disease mortality (CVDM) or other-cause mortality (OCM) of men with non-metastatic PCa according to PCa risk groups, primary treatment, and age. Greater likelihood of death from non-PCa related outcomes was noted in men with PCa. Among men on androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), older men and men with a high-risk tumor, a high proportion of PCSM was shown.
