Oosthuizen JL, et al. - Herein, authors inspected the influence of papillary features on the risk of malignancy (ROM) within the Atypia of Undetermined Significance or Follicular Lesion of Undetermined Significance (AUS-FLUS) Bethesda System for Reporting Thyroid Cytopathology (BSRTC) diagnostic category. Papillary features were commonly noted in a thyroid FNAB with an AUS-FLUS diagnosis, which was related to higher risk of malignancies when compared to the BSRTC.
