Park YE, et al. - In a study sample comprising patients readmitted early with intestinal Behçet’s disease, researchers investigated the risk factors and outcomes. They identified that hospital stay at the first admission, high disease activity index for intestinal Behçet’s disease score, corticosteroid use, and opioid use were independent factors for early readmission within 3 months. These factors might help guide appropriate management strategies for hospitalized patients with intestinal Behçet’s disease.
