Journal of Hepatology Feb 28, 2018

Crespo G, et al. - An inquiry was set up with regard to the effect of direct-acting antivirals (DAA) therapy in the composition of the liver transplant (LT) waiting list and the early post-transplant survival in patients with chronic hepatitis C. Data illustrated a connection between the high efficacy of the new direct antivirals with a significant improvement in survival of patients undergoing liver transplantation due to HCV-related liver disease.
