Neurourology and Urodynamics Jan 18, 2018

Song P, et al. - The intent of the authors was to contemplate the efficacy and safety of surgical procedures [tension-free vaginal tape (TVT), transobturator tape (TOT), tension-free vaginal tape-obturator (TVT-O), tension-free vaginal tape SECUR (TVT-S), and adjustable single-incision sling (Ajust)] for stress urinary incontinence (SUI). Using a network meta-analysis (NMA), they attempted to evaluate which surgery was most optimal for SUI. TOT was discovered to be the optimal regimen for SUI. It displayed high efficacy and moderate safety when compared to other surgical interventions.
