Pipanmekaporn T, et al. - Herein, the incidence of ipsilateral shoulder pain (ISP) after thoracotomy was assessed among patients who received parecoxib vs placebo. Researchers concluded, based on the findings, that intravenous parecoxib significantly can attenuate the incidence and severity of ISP post-thoracotomy.
