The effect of mirabegron, used for overactive bladder treatment, on female sexual function: A prospective controlled study

Zachariou A, et al. - Authors ascertained the impact of mirabegron, used for overactive bladder (OAB) treatment, on female sexual function. They prospectively enrolled 85 sexually active women suffering from overactive bladder in this study. As per data, female sexual function was improved by management of OAB with mirabegron. This is one of the few studies that demonstrated this. Total FSFI and all domains, arousal, lubrication, orgasm, satisfaction and pain significantly increased post-treatment compared to baseline in patients receiving mirabegron 50 mg/daily.
