Oh HW, et al. - This study was designed to assess the impact of a colloid solution on acute kidney injury in paediatric cardiac surgery. Based on the findings, it was concluded that there was no association between using 6% hydroxyethyl starch 130/0.4 up to 30 ml.kg^-1, intraoperatively, and postoperative acute kidney injury in paediatric cardiac patients.
