The association between dermoscopic features and BRAF mutational status in cutaneous melanoma: Significance of the blue-white veil

Armengot-Carbo M, et al. - A determination was carried out of the dermoscopic features related to the BRAF mutation in cutaneous melanoma. Researchers also coveted an analysis of a model capable of speculating BRAF mutations based on dermoscopic and clinicopathological features easily accessible in normal clinical practice. It was inferred that blue-white veil in dermoscopy was related to the BRAF mutations in cutaneous melanoma.
