Jijon-Knupp R, et al. - The comparative efficacy and safety of staples vs absorbable and non-absorbable sutures for skin closure after cesarean delivery were evaluated in this study. Compared with staples, sutures, in general, were associated with a reduction in wound infections. However, non-absorbable sutures seemed to have a more protective effect.
